Frequently asked questions

  • We started our business in 2018 with one goal—to provide better care for dogs. There are a few reasons we’re better than our competitors, but the easiest way to explain the difference is with a graphic representation. CLICK HERE.

  • All of BratPak’s pricing is based on the size of your dog. We have three size tiers:

    MINIs (Up to 20 lbs)
    MIDs (21-50 lbs)
    BIGs (Over 50 lbs).

Our DayKare costs are $38, $42, and $46, respectively. Our (all-inclusive) boarding costs are $60, $70, and $80, respectively.

  • Our hours of operation are as follows:

    Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM
    Saturday 8AM-5PM
    Closed Sundays

Please note, we provide overnight boarding 7 days a week, but are NOT AVAILABLE for check-ins and check-outs on Sundays.

  • Absolutely! We offer FREE livestream access for every client during every stay. We believe transparency is critical in earning your trust. In fact, anytime a dog care facility does NOT offer cameras for your viewing, you should be asking them why.

  • All dogs sleep inside our climate-controlled building in individual rooms. MIDs and BIGs will be in larger suites and MINIs will be tucked away in their fun little condos.

  • We do NOT offer haircut or trim services. For existing clients, we provide baths, nail trims, and gland expression.

  • I’m so glad you asked! In short, BratPak doesn’t offer “board and train” services because we fundamentally disagree with the entire concept. You can check out our blog on the topic for more details, but there are 3 primary reasons we are opposed to this training approach: 1) They are WAY OVERPRICED for the services you receive. 2) These programs tend to use overly harsh techniques on your dog to get “quick” results. 3) We are firm believers that the “core” of training is teaching dog parents to more effectively communicate with their dogs, in their home, where the negative behaviors mostly occur.

  • Unlike our local competitors, BratPak considers itself a “play-based” facility vs “kennel-based.” In kennel-based facilities, their top priority is filling their available kennels. While this is great for their bottom line, it’s not so great for the dogs. Although these facilities may offer “play” on a limited basis, and usually for an additional fee, your dog will spend the majority of their time in a kennel. PRO TIP: As you do your research, a good indication that the facility is “kennel-based” is when they do NOT offer cameras for your viewing.
