At BratPak Dog Kamp, our top priority is the safety and comfort of the dogs in our care. While we love dogs of all sizes and breeds, we must maintain certain breed restrictions based on our facility layout and all-day group play environment. In addition, all dogs must successfully complete a professional behavioral assessment to ensure they are social, well-mannered, and comfortable interacting with other dogs in a group setting. In general, we cannot accept very large, high-energy dogs.

Our dog daycare focuses on structured group play, expert supervision, and the dogs’ comfort. Dogs are grouped based on size, play style, and temperament to ensure safe, positive interactions throughout the day. We are built on an expertise in dog social behavior and ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable in our care.
-
We certainly do! Our 2-hour trial is specifically designed to gradually introduce your pup to the group play environment. This short session helps reduce stress and sets dogs up for success. By introducing dogs gradually, we create a calmer, safer daycare experience, especially for first-time visitors.
-
Yes. Dogs in daycare are closely supervised by our trained and caring staff. We actively manage interactions to ensure a safe, positive environment for every dog in our care.
-
For the safety of all dogs, we require:
Rabies
DHPP
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
Vaccinations must be up to date prior to participating in dog daycare.
-
Yes—in fact we specialize in building confidence in more timid dogs or dogs who haven’t received much socialization. Because we adjust our gentle introduction approach to each individual dog, most dogs do very well. Our gradual introduction process allows dogs to ease in at their own pace.

DOG BOARDING faq
-
Our dog boarding provides a calm, comfortable overnight stay combined with structured daytime activity. Dogs enjoy supervised group play during the day and a relaxing, consistent routine in the evening. We feed twice per day — morning and evening — just like you would at home, and all the time in between is CAGE-FREE PLAY. We are built on an expertise in dog social behavior and ensure every dog feels safe and comfortable in our care.
-
BratPak is proud to offer “ALL-INCLUSIVE” boarding for every dog. Traditional dog care facilities typically offer a “base” price at a very reasonable price, but this base price is for just a “kennel” stay, and anything extra (including playtime) is considered an “ADD-ON.” By the time you’ve paid for all the add-ons, your dog’s visit has suddenly become very expensive. We believe that EVERY dog deserved the absolute BEST care, for one affordable price — with ZERO ADD-ONs!

No, while our daycare is cage-free, we believe the dogs need their own space to rest at night. As you know from their home routine, dogs need lots of sleep. Because they’ll be playing all day with their pals, it’s essential for their health and happiness that they get undisturbed, quality sleep at night.
-
For the comfort, safety, and privacy of all dogs in our care, we do not offer overnight camera access. We monitor dogs throughout the night to ensure everyone is settled and comfortable. Of course, if anything out of the ordinary happens, we’ll let you know immediately.
-
There is no limit to the length of time a dog can be boarded.
-
Yes. Our focus is on providing every pup with a comfortable boarding experience, and there’s no better way to build confidence (and comfort) than allowing your pup to visit us for a few short stays prior to their boarding. We strongly recommend daycare visits before boarding so dogs can get familiar with our environment, staff, and routines. Dogs who participate in our daycare typically settle in much faster and experience less stress during their overnight stay. And that is our goal!
-
Dogs sleep in clean, comfortable, individual resting rooms designed specifically for their safety and relaxation. We offer two sleeping options — standard and VIP. Our overnight routine focuses on keeping dogs calm, settled, and secure.
-
Yes. We follow your dog’s normal feeding schedule (with their normal food) and can administer oral medications as instructed. Please provide clear written instructions at drop-off.
-
Please bring your dog’s food (pre-portioned if possible) and any required medications. We also recommend you bring a small blanket or personal item so that your pup has a comforting scent from home (especially for first-time boarders). We do not accept treats, toys, or dishes.
-
Yes. Dogs are roomed individually overnight for their safety and comfort, with group play occurring during the daytime. We’re happy to room “family” dogs together.
-
We actually specialize in helping dogs to reduce their separation anxiety prior to their boarding stay. The key is to start with several “short” daycare visits prior to their overnight stay. Additionally, our team prioritizes calm routines and individual attention to reassure the dogs they’re in a safe space.
-
This is a great question. Of course, our first priority is to do all we can to PREVENT emergencies. But in the unlikely event that a dog has an urgent need for medical attention, we’ll always contact the pup parents first for their awareness and input. If for whatever reason we’re unable to contact the clients, we’ll make the decision on whether to seek immediate medical attention. For emergency services, we typically use the Veterinary Emergency Group.
-
Unfortunately, we cannot provide boarding for dogs with medical needs, other than giving oral medications. We cannot give injections.

dog training faq
-
Our owner is an experienced certified dog trainer and behaviorist and does all the training personally. We offer professional, behavior-based dog training focused on creating “well-balanced” pets. Our training includes puppy development, basic obedience, play manners, confidence-building, socialization, leash skills, and a wide array of behavior modification. We follow the “LIMA” (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) training philosophy, and our techniques are customized to each dog’s needs, age, and temperament.
-
No! In fact, except for very few exceptions (hunting dogs, protection dogs, etc), we’re opposed to the entire concept. There are a variety of reasons we DO NOT support the board-and-train approach, but here are just a few: (1) They are WAY too expensive for the amount of training you receive. You’re paying for “boarding” more than for “training.” (2) Most board-and-train services in Las Vegas and Henderson use HARSHER techniques than necessary in order to get quick results. (3) Depending on your dog’s maturity level and personality, board-and-train programs could be TRAUMATIZING for your pup. We’ve heard too many horror stories where the dog that owners sent away was not the same dog that was returned to them. It’s very sad.
For additional details, check out our blog: Are Board-and-Train Programs Worth It?
-
All training is overseen by our owner, Sean C Marler, a certified dog trainer and behaviorist. Sean is a retired military veteran and graduate of the Animal Behavior College in Santa Clarita, CA. He has deep experience working with a wide range of breeds, ages, and behavior challenges. Our approach is rooted in understanding how each individual dog learns and communicates.
-
We follow the “LIMA” (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) philosophy, which applies the MOST positive and LEAST corrective techniques to effectively communicate to each individual dog. Unlike most dog trainers in Las Vegas and Henderson, we don’t use a “cookie-cutter” approach, applying the same approach to every dog and every training need. Instead, we adapt our training methods to the “individual” dog based on their unique personalities and histories.
-
Absolutely! In fact, we specialize in the full range of proper puppy development, to include basic obedience, play manners, socialization, and confidence building. Early training sets dogs up for lifelong success, and we look forward to raising the next generation of well-balanced dogs.
-
Yes. We regularly work with common behavior challenges such as leash pulling, jumping, anxiety, reactivity, and impulse control. Each plan is tailored to address the underlying cause of the behavior—not just the symptoms.
-
That all depends on your training goals and your dog’s responsiveness to training. Our approach to training is unique in that we focus on training the OWNER more than the dog. Our philosophy is that it’s the owner who needs to understand and effectively communicate with their dog, in order to clearly establish their rules and expectations. This approach helps to build more positive relationship moving forward.
Because we focus on your specific training needs, our training can be completed in much less time—and with much less money—than our competitors.
-
At this time, we are offering private training sessions, in your home, in order to better focus on your specific training objectives.
-
Most training will occur at your home because that is typically where the problem behaviors occur. However, training can take place at our facility or in real-world environments, depending on the goals of the training. The location is chosen to best support your specific training objectives.
-
Yes. It’s essential that the owner be involved in every aspect of the training, because it will ultimately be the owner’s responsibility to understand and communicate with the dog in daily life.
-
Absolutely. We are experts in understanding dogs and will only proceed at the dog’s comfort level. Our training is paced appropriately and designed to build confidence, reduce stress, and create positive experiences. We never force dogs into situations they’re not ready for.
-
Depending on your training objectives, dogs can begin training at almost any age—from puppies to seniors. Our training is customized to each individual dog and adjusted to suit each dog’s physical ability and learning stage.
