BratPak offers a completely different approach to dog training. Like people, every dog is different. This requires a customized training approach for each individual dog. We use a balanced approach, emphasizing positive communication with the dog and using the minimum level of correction for your dog to understand. If you’re dog trainer is asking you to spend thousands of dollars for training, or to enroll your dog in a weeks’ long “boot camp,” you’ve got the wrong trainer. We are proud to follow the LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach. What this means is that we adjust our training style and techniques to the individual dog, because every dog is different. Traditional dog trainers rely on a “cookie-cutter” approach, meaning they use the same exact techniques for every dog they encounter. At BratPak, we can’t imagine using the same approach for a 8-week old Maltese puppy as a 5-year old Rottweiler. An effective dog trainer must adjust their techniques to each dog they encounter. That’s what we do!

When most people talk about training, they’re referring to “obedience” (sit, down, stay, etc.). However, our goal at BratPak is to create a BALANCED DOG to become a fun and well-mannered part of your family and the community. That’s why BratPak is the ONLY facility in the Las Vegas and Henderson area to provide a comprehensive approach, specializing in ALL THREE of the primary components of training:
OBEDIENCE. In general terms, obedience training involves teaching your dog new skills, typically associated with a command (sit, stay, come, etc.).
SOCIALIZATION. Teaching your dog to function in the outside world via positive exposure to anything they may encounter (dogs, people, cafes, etc.). In case you’re interested, BratPak’s DAYKARE provides the best dog socialization in the area, especially for young pups.
BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION. Reducing or stopping unwanted behaviors (jumping, nipping, barking, leash reactivity, resource guarding, etc.).

PUPPY PARTIES
The peak socialization stage for pups is between 3-12 weeks. Since most of us don’t get our new puppies until the age of 8 weeks, that gives us just a few precious weeks to take advantage of this critical social development phase. Our PUPPY PARTIES help develop puppies’ social skills, build confidence, and encourage proper play manners. It’s an absolute MUST for new pup parents!
AGE: 8 - 16 weeks
FORMAT: Group class, pup parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about their young pup’s behavior. 45 minutes.

PUPPY playkare
An introduction to “dog daycare,” these adorable sessions expand on your pup’s social development by adding the element of being “away from home.” Our unique PUPPY PLAYKARE concept was deliberately created to start the process of developing your pup’s social confidence when away from you (their pack leader), which helps tremendously to reduce separation anxiety.
AGE: 8 - 16 weeks
FORMAT: Group class, drop-off only. 45 minutes. “Come when you can”
DATES: Every Mon and Thu at 6PM for the month of October.

basic obedience
One of the “classics” of dog training, this class introduces dogs to loose leash walking and all the basic obedience commands: Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Leave It, Drop
AGE: Over 4 months
FORMAT: Group class with active pup parent involvement. 45 minutes. Meets once per week.
DATES: Our FIRST class begins on Sat, Oct 4, at 1:00 PM (runs 5 consecutive weeks)

private training
For these customized sessions, the trainer come to your home to work 1-on-1 with you on ANY issue with which you need assistance. These sessions will be laser-focused on your specific concern(s), which typically include issues such as jumping, nipping, barking, leash reactivity/pulling, house manners, resource guarding, etc.
AGE: Any age
FORMAT: One hour. In your home (or designated location).
DATES: Available 7 days a week at your convenience.
COST: Kick-Off Promotion!! Buy a SINGLE SESSION for $65 (normally $125) or a 3-PAK for $175 (normally $345). We don’t offer more than 3 sessions because we expect you to see results quickly!

FREE TRAINING CONSULTATION
